Haz. Maulana Mahfoozur Rahman the spiritual successor of the late Haz. Maulana Ahmad Hasan. This way this centre of religious learning and spiritualism is satisfying the religious and spiritual needs of a larger area, with its benefits reaching, directly or otherwise, even to the distant areas, let alone those lying nearby.

Majaze bai'at is a term of the Islamic Spiritualism. The term denotes the person who has duly attained the necessary training and competence in Islamic Spiritualism under a recognized spiritual mentor and is permitted to admit others wishing to taste Islamic Spiritualism into his care and accept of bai'at of shariat from then at his hand.A Majaze Bai'at is a spiritual guide authorized to accept pledges of adherence in Islam.

At the same historic habitation and under the aegis of the Khanqah Naqshband Maulana Mufti Akhtar Imam Adil Qasmi took the venture to lay the foundation stone of the Jamia Rabbani on Thursday in 8 Jamadial Thaniya 1419, corresponding to October 1st 1998.By laying the foundation stone of this religious institution in fact a great movement for the educational development of the area and around was launched.

Although the work was commenced in a state of almost utter resourcelessness, yet, thanks to the unseen Divine support, the institution began to march ahead unhindered, making progress visible at all spheres , education and construction of new building structures and the academic performance of its beneficiary students of the religious learning. Praise to Allah Ta'ala, today this institution stands for a noted religious seminary of Bihar.

Aims and Objectives

Spreading the right call of the religion of Islam based purely on the teachings of Quran and Sunnah as understood by the Prophets Companions and their pious successors.

To reform and reconstruct the socially and religiously rotten Muslim society along the lines of the true Islamic teachings of Islam.

To raise a wave of religious learning in Muslims and prepare them for religious service in such a way as to meet the challenges of the changing states of the modern age.

Preparation of competent and virtuous men of Islamic learning in the perspective of the modern times.

To revive and rediscover the scholarship of the pious precursors, making sustained endeavour to keep the Muslims associated and enlightened with it.

Awakening the Muslims towards the growing importance of the useful modern secular learning and taking the required initiatives for the purpose.

Distinguishing Features of Jamia Rabbani

In addition to education and academic activities, special care is given to the students upbringing and their moral orientation.

In the teaching of the Holy Quran the learners are taught, from the very beginning, the rules of the Quranic phonetics (terminologically called tajweed), and great care is given to the correct pronunciation of the Quranic words.

In order to develop the literary potentials of the learners and to cultivate a good taste for the general and artistic use of the language, the Anjuman Tahzibul Bayan has been established, which has been working for years.

Side by side the religious education and learning, the students of the Jamia are enlightened with the demands of the age we are living in, thereby to enable them keep abreast of the fast changing world.
